‘Let’s Have a Chip Chat’ – Terms and Conditions for Free Prize Draw

1. These are the terms and conditions on which Fish ‘n’ Chick’n Limited (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms and conditions), offer you, as one of our customers, the opportunity to enter into our ‘Let’s Have a Chip Chat’ free prize draw promotion. Entry into our promotion will be considered acceptance of these terms and conditions, constituting your agreement to be bound by them as an entrant.
2. To enter into the promotion you must be a resident of the United Kingdom and over the age of 18. Our employees (and their immediate family members), and those of any companies in The Chesterford Group, and anyone otherwise associated with the administration of the promotion, may not take part in our free prize draw.
3. The prize on offer is a gift card to the value of £120 which can be redeemed, subject to availability and our usual terms and conditions of service, for free food and/or drink on the menu in any of our shops (namely, those shops which operate under the ‘fishnchickn’, ‘Bankers Fish & Chips’ and ‘Churchill’s’ brands). Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize and cannot be transferred to anyone else
4. To enter the promotion, please go to: churchillschipchat.co.uk, www.bankerschipchat.co.uk or www.fishandchipchat.co.uk, and complete the survey there. You will also need to provide all of the details requested on that web page. Entries will only entitle you to enter the next monthly prize draw to be held and will not be valid for all prize draws. Prize draws will be held on the last working day of each month. For your entry to be valid you must have completed your survey and provided all of the details requested by the end of the last day before the next prize draw. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. You may complete as many surveys as you like but only one entry will be counted as an entry into the next prize draw to be held.
5. Prize draws will be held monthly until we decide that the promotion is to end. There will be one prize draw winner selected each month until the end of the promotion.
6. Prize draw winners will be randomly selected by a computerised process from all valid entries for the relevant prize draw.
7. If you are a prize draw winner you will be notified of the result within ten days using the email address or telephone number you provided when you submitted the survey. If we cannot contact you within ten days you will risk being disqualified. The decision to disqualify a prize draw winner will be at our discretion. If you are disqualified an alternative prize draw winner will be drawn. If that alternative prize draw winner cannot be contacted within ten days of the subsequent prize draw, that person may be disqualified and no alternative prize winner will be selected. If an alternative prize draw winner is selected the original prize draw winner shall not be entitle to any prize, payment or compensation in lieu of a prize.
8. Gift cards will be sent by post to prize draw winners (or alternative prize draw winners, if applicable) using the address provided by the prize draw winner when the survey was submitted.
9. Gift cards will be valid for twelve months from the date of the relevant prize draw. Any balance left on the gift card at the end of the twelve month period will not be redeemable. If you wish to know the balance on your gift card please take the card to any of our shops (as referred to in paragraph 3 above) and ask a member of staff to check the balance on the card.
10. We cannot replace lost or stolen gift cards.
11. If there is any dispute about the validity of any prize draw, this will be decided by us. Our decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding, and we will not enter into any correspondence relating to the dispute.
12. Prize draw winners must take part in a reasonable level of publicity in relation to the promotion at our discretion and without further payment. This may include having your photograph taken at any of our shops and/or being referenced on any of our social media channels. Prize draw winners should make themselves reasonably available for such purpose. We may use the name and/or photograph of any prize draw winner for the purpose of promoting our business.
13. We cannot be held liable for entries into any prize draw which we do not receive for whatever reason, including: technical faults or malfunctions during transmission; computer or software failure; satellite, network or server failure; or loss of Internet service.
14. Any information collected about you which constitutes ‘personal data’ under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 will be dealt with in accordance with that regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and all other applicable privacy laws. Generally your personal data will be processed for the purposes of administering this promotion and, if you are a prize draw winner, for the purpose of promoting our business. 15. The name of the winner of any prize draw can be obtained by sending an email to: hello@tcg-ltd.co.uk within twenty days of the closing date of the prize draw.
16. We have the right to withdraw this promotion at any time without liability to any party. We may also amend these terms and conditions at any time and the latest version will be available on our websites at https://www.fishnchickn.co.uk/, https://anx.b35.myftpupload.com/ and https://churchillsfishandchips.co.uk/.
17. We reserve the right to refuse to award a prize to anyone who is in breach of these terms and conditions.
18. These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
